Initial updation of existing PIP data for rural households and updation of BPL data for urban households by collecting UFC code, Aadhar and bank account details was done by engaging field functionaries.
Fresh applications containing information such as family details, assets, job, annual income, social status were collected to identify any leftover poor families.
The entire data was validated with PDS data for UFC and with banks for account number.
In respect of new applications scoring methodology was adopted using various indicators such as movable and immovable assets, annual income, social status, occupation, educational qualification, etc. in both rural and urban areas.
Government order were obtained for publishing the draft poverty data.
The draft Integrated Poverty data published trough TIPPS portal (www.tipps.in) to receive claims and objection received online through this portal.
TNCDW consolidate the integrated poverty data for the state and undertake updations based on the requirements which shall be used for various Government schemes.
